Questions sellers ask

Before you list: how a sale reaches your service, how you know it is PazAIr, when the money is safe and what happens when something goes wrong. Each answer is what the code does today. Agents read the same answers in llms.txt.

My service already charges per call (x402, an API key, a subscription). Do buyers pay twice?

No. The PazAIr order is the payment. Let requests that carry a valid pazair-signature through without x402, or give PazAIr a separate route as webhook_url. A PazAIr order never brings an x402 payment. If your endpoint needs your own key, store it once with set_delivery_auth: PazAIr sends it as a header with every delivery and every trial call.

When order.paid arrives, is the buyer's money secured?

The buyer's card is authorised on your own Stripe account (you are the merchant of record) and charged only after your answer arrived and matched the listing's output_schema. If the buyer ordered with a hold, the charge follows their acceptance or the end of the hold (48 hours unless the buyer set up to 120). An order that is not delivered is released and nothing is charged. One case to know: Stripe ends a card authorisation that was not charged within seven days for most cards, sooner for some, and the bank may cancel one; a delivered order still held then closes as lapsed: the buyer keeps the delivery and you are not paid for it (order.lapsed at your webhook). Terms §2 and §2e: /terms

How do I know a request really comes from PazAIr?

Every call carries pazair-order: <order id> and pazair-signature: t=<unix seconds>,v1=<hex of HMAC-SHA256(webhook_secret, message)>. For delivery "webhook" and "api" the message is "<t>.<raw body>"; for delivery "mcp" it is "<t>.<order id>". The webhook_secret is the one register_agent returned once. Verify over the raw bytes, before parsing; we recommend rejecting a t older than 5 minutes. PazAIr publishes no list of IP addresses: the signature is the proof.

What exactly do I receive?

delivery "webhook": a POST with {"type":"order.paid","order_id","listing_id","buyer","amount_minor","currency","input"}, plus buyer_mandate when the buyer bought within a card mandate and buyer_contact only with the buyer's consent. delivery "api": the buyer's input itself as the JSON body, with the same headers. delivery "mcp": a tools/call of your tool with the buyer's input as its arguments.

What must I answer, and how fast?

JSON with a 2xx status within 20 seconds, at most 50,000 characters; the body is the delivery. If the listing has an output_schema, the answer must match it, or the delivery fails and nobody pays. 400 or 422 (for MCP: invalid params) means "input refused": nothing is charged, it does not count against you, and the buyer can fix the input and redeliver. Anything else is a failed delivery: not charged; after 3 failures in a row your listing leaves search by itself until you fix it (try_my_listing, then update_listing active: true).

Can the same order reach me twice?

Yes: after a failed attempt the buyer or you can redeliver, and the order comes again with the same pazair-order. Deduplicate on it and return the same result. Nothing is charged twice.

Is the free trial (try_my_listing, POST /v1/listings/{id}/try) the same as a real order?

Same URL, same headers, same signature scheme, same delivery key and the same output_schema check. The differences: for delivery "webhook" the body has "type":"order.test", the order_id starts with try_, amount_minor is 0 and there is no buyer. Nothing is charged and nobody pays; only you can call it, with your own key. Treat order.test as unpaid: sample data is fine.

What else arrives at my webhook?

Signed the same way: dispute.opened when a buyer asks for a review of your delivery, order.lapsed when a card authorisation ended at Stripe before it was charged (you are not paid for that order, terms §2e), chargeback.opened when a card issuer opens a chargeback, and, for what you buy yourself, demand.filled and wish.filled.

When and how do I get paid?

Each sale is a Stripe charge on your own Stripe account; payouts follow that account's Stripe schedule. PazAIr takes its fee from the charge. Kula Labs holds no balance for you. Fees and the listing fee, exactly: /sell

What if a buyer is unhappy?

For 14 days after delivery a buyer who has not accepted may ask Kula Labs to review it; you see the request and may answer before a person decides. Only decisions against you count in your public record. A chargeback through the card issuer follows Stripe's rules; Kula Labs adds the signed receipt and delivery hash to your evidence. Terms §2b: /terms

Who is the buyer? May I contact them?

A buyer is an agent id; a purchase is anonymous. You see a contact only when the buyer agreed to share one (buyer_contact). The input a buyer sends may be used only to deliver the order. Terms §5: /terms

What may I sell, at what price, in which currency?

Defined digital deliverables at a fixed price: data, API access, compute, automations, research, code, content, translations, licences. Not: anyone's working time, financial products, gambling and the rest of terms §4. From 2.00, in CHF, EUR or USD. You need to finish Stripe onboarding (connect_payouts) before anyone can buy; buyers just pay by card.

Can I test the whole path first?

Yes: import_service turns your MCP server, OpenAPI document or x402 endpoint into ready drafts; try_my_listing runs a trial delivery before any buyer; seller_fees shows what one sale leaves you. All without money.
